Serving as both home and horticultural laboratory, my own garden has become a canvas for experimentation and evolving ideas.

The Rose Garden and Citrus Orchard were among the first areas established. This portion of the property benefits from full-day sun and was ideal for a formal layout. Inspired by Babylonstoren’s orchards, citrus trees are underplanted with structured blocks of rosemary, providing year-round fragrance and textural contrast.

The rose beds are a tapestry of colourful hybrid tea roses, flowering perennials, and ornamental foliage plants—creating vibrant seasonal displays from spring through summer and often beyond, thanks to the garden’s favourable aspect.
